I bought this dress in November of 2013 for my May, 2014 wedding in St. John USVI. I saw this dress featured on The Knot early in my wedding planning and couldn't seem to get it out of my mind. I made my wedding dress appointments at places that carried Watters gowns in hopes of finding it, but realized quickly that this dress was hard to find. Finally, after many appointments at many boutiques I found it....well they actually brought it in special for me! It was everything I wanted and needed it to be and was in love with it the minute it went on. The dress is extremely flattering featuring an ivory sweetheart neck washed silk organza, with softly pleated bodice, natural waist, vanilla bean double faced satin ribbon and a sweep train. This dress is extremely versatile and would look amazing in any venue - from a bohemian ceremony to and elegant indoor event. When I bought this dress I thought I would keep it forever, but have since come to the realization that this dress is far to pretty to stuff away into a box with the hopes that I might have a daughter someday that will want to wear it. Instead it should be enjoyed now, so another bride can feel as beautiful wearing it as I did.
